The vineyard of Cordelière covers an area of 33000m2 and is the sole title holder. This magnificent residence dates back to the 16th century and is composed of a main house, a wine pressing room and a wine cellar that is still in function.
The Domaine Es Cordelières has been ranked « Premier Grand Cru Vaudois» since 2012 and is part of the prestigious and renowned association Clos Domaine & Château.The first signs of wine trade at the Domaine Es Cordelières date back to 1471. At this period, the wine domaine was composed of nine poses (corresponding to 4.5 hectares), of which six poses belonged to the castle of Chatagnéréaz which is located just across “Chemin Es Cordelières”.
The domaine has been owned since 1960 by the Mundler-du Martheray family, and has been cultivated and exploited for the production of wine by the Gränicher family since 1967.
